Hornacott is a traditional Cornish home, formerly a farmhouse, and built in the early 1700's. The house nestles into a hillside, known locally as Hornacott Hill in the River Inny Valley that is in the wider environs of the Tamar Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty, that forms the county boundary between Devon and Cornwall.

The guest suite with its own entrance, has a bedroom and sitting room where French windows face west over the garden. The bedroom has an en suite bathroom with bath, shower, hand basin and wc. An additional single room can be made available for a third person.

Food is purchased fresh from local suppliers, and special dietary requirements can usually be catered for . An excellent selection of pubs and restaurants in easy driving distance offers fine regional food. Breakfast is served in the dining room.

Hornacott is  well placed to visit Cornwall's famous historic houses and gardens, the Eden Project, the dramatic coastline, the Cornish villages, glorious walks, cycle routes, plentiful gardens and nurseries, boat hire and river trips.

Whatever time of year you choose to visit, whether during the busy summer season or in the crisp winter months, Hornacott remains the same peaceful haven to return to after a day in the Cornish countryside.
