Everywhere there are exposed beams, inglenook fireplaces, and polished solid pine floors from the Wychwood Forest. The open fires create a welcoming atmosphere as guests are greeted with a cup of tea and perhaps a slice of homemade cake. Most of the bedrooms have four-poster beds and are en-suite with the exception of one which has private facilities. All the rooms are individually furnished. Colour televisions and generously filled hospitality trays with fresh fruit, biscuits etc, are provided in each room along with fresh flowers, hairdryers and of course the obligatory teddy bear! Bathrobes and quality toiletries are also provided. Guiting Guest House has earned a reputation for the quality of the evening meals which are served by candle light. All the meals are prepared and presented with the emphasis on freshness of local produce and clarity of taste. Evening meals are by prior arrangement and at least 24 hours notice is requested.The dining room has exposed beams from which hang a large collection of pitchers, jugs and cups from the famous English Potteries such as Wedgewood, Doulton, Moorcroft and Maclntyre.
