The Brayscroft Hotel was originally built as a spacious Edwardian family house. It has been carefully and sympathetically restored into a delightful small hotel with antique furniture and original paintings. Owned by Sue and William Carter, and personally run by Sue, the hotel is managed with flair and sensitivity.

The hotel is ideally situated a minute from the seafront and a short walk from the bandstand, pier, Western Lawns and the Carpet Gardens. The theatres and the Devonshire Park Tennis complex are also within easy walking distance. The start of the South Downs Way is a short walk along the seafront and walks around Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters country park - an area of outstanding natural beauty - are close by.

All rooms have central heating, colour television with DVD players and other facilities. Each room is comfortably and thoughtfully furnished, having a refreshment tray with bone china crockery, a good selection of hot drinks, biscuits and complimentary mineral water. Fresh milk is available daily on request. Fluffy bathsheets and dressing gowns are also available as are a selection of films on DVD.
